Summary
Due to more rooms in each house, air conditioning trend is no more one-unit-per home but is one-unit-per room. In order to fulfill these needs, the authors have developed multi-type air conditioners which control the distribution of their heating-cooling capacity. The multi-type air conditioners exercise capacity distribution control in line with the prevailing load in each of the rooms and, by so doing, they heat or cool the home with minimal on-off switching.
