Summary
Hollow cylinders of niobium-titanium/niobium/copper multilayer sheet with 30 niobium-titanium layers have been applied to the study of interfacial pinning. The result leads to a new concept that cylindrical shields in a high field can be made of weak pinning superconducting materials, such as a high-critical temperature bismuth system.
