Summary
According to the sustainable development theory, energy demand management and international topics in the professional world, proposes a few novel concepts in the building energy conservation field: 1) from restraining demand alone to increasing building energy efficiency; 2) to give priority to end-use energy conservation; 3) close relations between building energy efficiency and human population distribution and the global environment. From these viewpoints some suggestions are made on developing strategy in terms of housing energy efficiency technology.
