Summary
The technology of targeted changing in sliding properties of the ice surface is based on the introduction of additives into poured on water. The problem is that the effective concentration of additives for the improvement of sliding results in the appearance of surface defects in the ice. A technology involving gentle cleansing of additives from harmful admixtures, based on multi-step vacuum cleaning of all the organic compounds introduced into poured on water has been developed, tested and patented. The graphs of step-by-step treatment of three types of additives are presented. The efficiency of the method is confirmed by the data of chemical analysis of the additives obtained by the liquid chromatography method. After taking off the limits on concentration of the additives, the investigations were carried out and allowed optimization of the concentration of each compound introduced into the water. A principle of operation of the instrument is presented, together with the results of the investigations for three kinds of additives.
