WORK ON THE CHICAGO HILTON ENTAILED REDUCING THE NUMBER OF ROOMS FROM 2,200 TO 1,620 AND COMPLETELY UPDATING. IMPROVED INSULATION GIVES BETTER COMFORT USING EXISTING BOILER PLANT AND 10,400 KILOW CAPACITY CHILLERS. INDUCTION SYSTEM WAS REPLACED BY FAN COILS, LOCATED IN VERTICAL PIPE DUCTS.
