New model of the pinning interaction in HTC superconductors.
Number: pap. 010
Author(s) : SOSNOWSKI J.
Summary
The proposed model is based on an energy balance analysis taking into account from one side the potential normal state energy of the captured vortex, while from the other side tearing off vortices by Lorentz force and also potential of the elasticity force of the vortex lattice. After a short presentation of the model main attention was put on an analysis of the influence initial position of the captured vortex on the current-voltage curves and critical current as well as it was briefly considered the possible modification of the captured vortex shape. Some experimental data concerning the construction of the models of the current carrying demonstrative devices – resistive type fault current limiter and cryocable are enclosed. The losses generated during alternating current flow in 2G tapes are discussed, taking into account the magnetic properties of the nickel substrates.
