Summary
Papers on absorption refrigeration, presented to Commission B2 during the XVth IIR congress in Venice, are discussed. Because the absorption cycle is driven directly by heat it is suitable for specific forms of energy transformation based on waste heat and solar heat. There are also openings for absorption heat pumps.
