ILLUSTRATES SCHEMATICALLY A NEW HEATING SYSTEM COMPRISING A DOUBLE-SHELL HOUSE WITH AIR CIRCULATING BETWEEN THE TWO SHELL THE AIR IS PASSED THROUGH AN AIR-WATER HEAT PUMP WHICH EXTRACTS THE ENERGY FROM THE AIR AND USES THIS, PLUS THE ELECTRICAL DRIVE ENERGY TO SUPPLY A FLOOR WARMING SYSTEM. THE AIR FROM THE HEAT PUMP'S EVAPORATOR IS THEN RECIRCULATED BETWEEN THE TWO SHELLS. LISTS WHAT ARE STATED TO BE SPURIOUS CLAIMS FOR THE SYSTEM -FOR EXAMPLE THAT THE COP INCREASES AS THE OUTDOOR TEMPERATURE FALLS -AND EXPLAINS WHY THEY ARE UNFOUNDED. (INT. BUILD. SERV.
