Novel FANNO curve for incompressible fluid flow.
Author(s) : SOUMERAI H.
Type of article: Periodical article
Summary
The main objective of this communication is to show how this curve was derived and illustrate its application in fluid flow and heat transfer engineering. By using the more exact first law flow equation, including the kinetic energy term, it can be shown that the conclusions derived in these earlier papers, at Re one order of magnitude above and below the estimated critical Reynolds number, are also valid in the immediate neighborhood of Re(cr) on the basis of a novel incompressible FANNO flow curve.
