Summary

THE PRESSURISED GAS-COOLED COMPRESSOR PROVIDES A PACKAGED DESIGN BY THE INTEGRATION OF OIL PRECIPITATION TO AVOID SUCTION GAS OVERHEATING. THE TEMPERATURE RANGES COMMON TO REFRIGERATION FOR SINGLE-STEP OPERATION CAN BE COVERED WITH COMPRESSION RATIO QUANTITIES 2.6 AND 4.8. THE OIL CIRCULATION HAS BEEN SIMPLIFIED BY THE ELIMINATION OF THE OIL PUMP. IT IS REQUIRED TO MAINTAIN THE NECESSARY PLANT PRESSURE ON THE PRESSURE SIDE FOR A SAFE OIL SUPPLY. THE APPLICATIONAL LIMITRESULTING THEREFROM IS A MINIMUM PRESSURE RATIO.
