Summary

In the article, a graphical method to analyze the direct suspension-cyclon heat exchangers, in multistage configuration is presented. Each tube-cyclon stage is regarded as an equilibrium unit. The modification of the graphical method is considered in the case of solid entrained by the current of gas leaving the cyclon, and of gas by-passed in solid feed. The graphical method of analysis is useful to evaluate the operating conditions of the heat exchanger.
