Optical cell for observing solidification of helium.
Author(s) : CHEN M. T., DAHM A. J.
Type of article: Article
Summary
An innovative method to seal a pressure cell for observing crystallization in liquid helium isotopes is presented. Empirically, the cell is superleak-tight up to a pressure of 30 bar, and is reliable after thermal cycles between room temperature and 1 K.
