Summary

REFRIGERATED WAREHOUSES IN FRANCE INCLUDE PUBLIC AND PRIVATE COLD STORES, AS WELL AS FRUIT PACKING STATIONS. THE MOST RECENT STATISTICS SHOW A TOTAL OF 4,300 ESTABLISHMENTS OF VARIOUS SIZES, WITH 14,500,000 M3 OF COLD ROOMS AT DIFFERENT TEMPERATURES. FOR PUBLIC COLD STORES ONLY THE AVERAGE ANNUAL INCREASE OF THE TOTAL VOLUME IS ABOUT 5.5%. THE SAME TREND APPEARS FOR PRIVATE COLD STORES. THE TRAFFIC IN PUBLIC COLD STORES IS MORE AND MORE ORIENTED TOWARDS DISTRIBUTION ACTIVITIES.
