Summary

The aim of this paper is to investigate the parameter effect on sensible efficiency of a membrane based liquid desiccant dehumidifier. To conduct this study a simplified 3D CFD model with cross flow configuration is built and simulated by ANSYS software. The applied liquid desiccant is LiCl with 39% concentration. The studied parameters include inlet air temperature and its flow rate, inlet solution temperature and its flow rate. It is found that air flow rate has the obviously negative effect on the sensible efficiency while solution flow rate has the significant positive influence on it.
