Summary
An internal dynamic comparative study of orifice pulse tube and Stirling hybrid pulse tube is made, by thermodynamic modelling of the two systems. Basical structure of the model is established based on mass and energy conservation balances, written for separate control volumes of complete refrigerator. This method makes clear typical common parameters of the two mechanisms. Greatest setting easiness, lower dimension for equivalent performances, give to the Stirling hybrid pulse tube good chances to be developed in miniature cryocooler area.
