Summary

THE BEHAVIOUR OF AN ABSORPTION HEAT PUMP HAS BEEN STUDIED ON A PILOT PLANT (GENERATOR POWER: 4 KILOW) WITH THE SYSTEM R21-DMETEG AS THE WORKING PAIR. ON THE OTHER HAND, THE ABSORPTION HEAT PUMP WITH THE SAME WORKING PAIR HAS BEEN SIMULATED UNDER VARIABLE LOADS IN COOLING AND HEATING MODES. ANALYTICAL AND EXPERIMENTAL RESULTS SHOW THE ABILITY OF THE ABSORPTION CYCLE FOR OPERATING UNDER VARIABLE LOADS BY THE REGULATION OF ONLY THREE PARAMETERS.
