Type of article: Article
Summary
The energy consumption for refrigeration at (flower) auctions, reaches a peak after the product is delivered from the warehouses. A computerised control system has been installed to optimise demand for the several refrigeration installations involved, so that peak values are reduced. The combination of experience and computer control systems has led to enourmous energy cost savings.
