Author(s) : DOWDY J. A., BRYANT J. A.

Summary

EVAPORATIVE COOLING IS VERY IMPORTANT FOR AIR CONDITIONING IN ARID ZONES OF AMERICA. THIS TECHNIQUE CAN BE USED FOR IMPROVING MECHANICAL COOLING BY SEVERAL MEANS. FOR GOOD RESULTS, VERY IMPORTANT IS TO PREDICT THE EVAPORATIVE PERFORMANCE OF A GIVEN MEDIUM. THE PAPER PRESENTS THE RESULTS OF AN EXPERIMENTAL PROGRAM TO EVALUATE THE PERFORMANCE OF A RIGID IMPREGNATED CELLULOSE EVAPORATIVE MEDIUM IN CERTAIN CONDITIONS.
