Type of article: Article
Summary
Storage of energy has been the state of technological development for a long time. In the HVAC industry, the application of PCMs represents a relatively new method. Heat can be stored in these materials during the change of their thermodynamic phase from solid to fluid. In this article, the application of salt hydrates and paraffins is discussed with respect to PCM technology.
