Summary

Presents the results of the determination of the physical and thermodynamic properties of ammonia-water mixtures, useful in absorption air conditioning and refrigeration. The experimental data obtained and calculated values of the properties of the mixtures were used to prepare a large-modulus Mollier chart for ammonia-water mixtures at pressures to 3,500 kilopascal. This document was one of those used by the IIR in preparing the practical user's guide entitled "Ammonia as a refrigerant". It is available from the IIR (catalogue code AUF).
