Summary

COMPARISON OF ETHANOL ADSORPTION CAPACITY OF ACTIVATED CARBON POWDER AND GRANULES IN TERMS OF TEMPERATURES OF 278, 288, 298 AND 313 K (5, 15, 25 AND 40 DEG C), AND THE PH OF THE AQUEOUS SOLUTION. EFFECT OF HEATING CARBON GRANULES TO 673 K (400 DEG C) FOR 1 HR, 873 K (600 DEG C) FOR 3 HRS IN THE PRESENCE OF N2, 1,273 K (1,000 DEG C) FOR 1 HR IN THE PRESENCE OF CO2, ON ITS ETHANOL ADSORPTION CAPACITY. CARBON GRANULES PERFORM BETTER THAN POWDER. (Bibliogr. int. CDIUPA-CNRS, FR., 87-210-225994.
