Summary
An open competition was held in 1993 for methods of predicting hourly chilled water, hot water and electricity usage and other factors, given building and energy data for other periods. Typically the given data was for 4 months of the year and it was required to predict these figures for the following 2 months. The winner's coefficient of variation was 10.5%. The 6 top entrants presented their methods at a seminar. A.R.T.
