Summary
This article considers the problems of prediction and modelling of azeotropic binary mixture behaviour with the help of two-parametric cubic equations of state. Using the Maxwell curve method, the conditions of azeotropy expressed through parameters of the equation of state are obtained. The results of prediction of the azeotropic points for binary systems from Van der Waals, Redlich-Kwong-Wilson and Peng-Robinson equations of state have been obtained and analysed. The values of correlation parameters for some binary mixtures used in refrigerating engineering are presented.
