Summary
Most of the applications of ice slurries were and still are on trial and error basis. Especially the fundamental properties such as pressure drop and heat transfer characteristics were lacking for a long time. In order to gain knowledge about the fundamental properties of ice-slurry, a well-equipped laboratory facility has been established.
