DEVELOPMENT OF SUPERCONDUCTORS CAPABLE OF OPERATING AT ALTERNATING MAGNETIC FIELDS MAKES IT POSSIBLE TODESIGN FULLY SUPERCONDUCTING GENERATORS. DIFFERENT METHODS OF SUPERCONDUCTING ARMATURE WINDING COOLING ARE CONSIDERED. THE MOST PREFERABLE METHOD IS A FORCED COOLING WITH TWO-PHASE HELIUM.
