IIR document
Pumping cryosystems: theory, practice, experiment.
Author(s) : BRAYLOVSKIY Y., BLYUKHER B.
Summary
The paper presents the research results dedicated to the elaboration of the theoretical basis of cryogenic-system reservoir pumps. A mathematical model has been developed and presented and the model has been validated by experimental testing. The model can be applied to evaluate the efficiency associated with a particular scheme and possible improvements. The paper provides, for the first time, a theoretical basis for cryogenic-system reservoir pumps which can be applied to the design and evaluation of such systems.
