Qualifying the acoustic performance of climatic engineering equipment.
Qualifier les performances acoustiques des équipements de génie climatique.
Author(s) : TOURRET J.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The author reviews three types of noise from climatic engineering equipment (air, solid, in duct), along with existing or developing methods used for describing the acoustic performance of the equipment. Even if both the measurements of the air acoustic power and, to a smaller extent, the power emitted in the duct are controlled, methods for measuring the solid noise nevertheless require extreme care.
