Summary
This booklet is a French translation of a document published by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in the United States. The radon reduction methods described were tested with success by the EPA or other research institutes, under real high-concentration conditions. These methods are the following: natural ventilation, blown-air ventilation, ventilation with heat recovery, ground coating, sealing of cracks and orifices, suction with a drain pipe, suction under the slab, ventilation of parpen walls, prevention of house depressurization, house pressurization.
