Summary
Safety, efficiency and maintenance costs are the most important criteria when designing modern industrial refrigeration-plant compressors. Grasso, a Dutch manufacturer of such compressors, in order to meet these requirements, is constantly improving its products and has just designed a new high-tech valve. This article describes the new technology used in designing the valve and explains how the valve operates.
