Type of article: Article
Summary
A simple and reliable refrigeration system, the ejector refrigeration system, which can be driven by solar energy and low-temperature heat source was introduced and its research development was described. The latest research on refrigerants and improvement of the system configuration in order to improve the performance and flexibility was reviewed. Formation, performance and key characteristics of several ejector-absorption hybrid refrigeration systems were analysed. It was shown that hybrid systems could improve the system performance without increasing the complexity.
