Summary

The paper is about Ice Slurry production in the ice slurry generator of screw type. Screw type ice slurry generators are commonly used for lamellar ice production. Construction and operation modes optimization for generators make possible to produce manufactured ice with desired parameters. Ice production processes in the apparatus for this type is not well studied enough. The mathematical model describing the ice crystallization process in the screw type ice slurry generator is developed. On the model basis the rated dependences are defined. Nominal range of use for apparatus in Ice Slurry production mode is determined. In accordance with assigned task the experimental stand is designed and manufactured. Experiments for studding screw rotation frequency effect and supplied water temperature effect to generator on generator duty. Derived results for research investigation are well fit with theoretical data. Computing methods for screw type ice slurry generator which are based on derived theoretical dependences are proposed. On the ground of theoretical and research investigations the recommendations for screw type ice slurry generator design are made. The fundamentals of matching ice slurry accumulators are developed.
