Summary

REVIEW PAPER ON THE METHOD OF RECOVERING HEAT FOR REFRIGERATING SYSTEMS AND HEAT PUMPS. IT INCLUDES TWO PARTS. IN THE FIRST, DEVOTED TO THE RECOVERY OF EXTERNAL HEAT, THE A. DIFFERENTIATES THE HEAT TO BE RECOVERED AT A TEMPERATURE HIGHER OR NOT THAN THAT OF THE ENVIRONMENT. HE STUDIES THE TWO-TEMPERATURE AND THREE-TEMPERATURE SYSTEMS, MAINLY EJECTION, ABSORPTION AND RESORPTION SYSTEMS. BOTH LATTER CAN BE REVERSED ACCORDING TO THE RELATIVE VALUE OF THE THREE SOURCE TEMPERATURES. THE SECOND PART DEALS WITH THE RECOVERY OF HEAT OR COLD PRODUCED BY THE REFRIGERATING SYSTEMS. THE A. DESCRIBES THESE SYSTEMS EITHER FOR PRODUCING MAINLY REFRIGERATION OR PROVIDING HEAT AND REFRIGERATION SIMULTANEOUSLY OR SUCCESSIVELY. A.G.
