THE SPLITTERS WITHIN DUCT ATTENUATORS WILL ABSORB DISCRETE FREQUENCY BANDS, ACCORDING TO THE THICKNESS AND CONSTRUCTION. DIFFERENT WIDTH SPLITTERS CAN BE USED IN THE SAME DEVICE, AS MAY BE REQUIRED. IT IS THEREFORE ESSENTIAL THAT ATTENUATORS SHOULD BE DESIGNED FOR THE PARTICULAR APPLICATION. A.R.T.
