Summary
HYCOOL is a new secondary fluid, based on an aqueous potassium formate (K-formate) solution. Physical data, environmental properties and material compatibility are presented, in addition to more practical results of energy efficiency. Comparisons with the most commonly used secondary fluids are performed where the data are available.
