Summary

THE AUTHOR PRESENTS 2 TYPES OF RECIPROCATING COMPRESSORS, ONE A 2-CYLINDER (BOTH PARTLY AND COMPLETELY MADE OF CERAMIC PARTS), AND ONE A 4-CYLINDER (COMPLETELY CERAMICS). THEY ARE SAID TO BE SUITABLE FOR ALL CURRENTLY KNOWN C FC SUBSTITUTES. HE DESCRIBES THEIR FEATURES. THE VALVE-CONTROL MECHANISM WAS REPLACED BY A NEWLY DEVELOPED TURNING-VALVE SYSTEM. THE INTERIOR OF THE CRANKCASE IS USED AS A THIRD WORKING COMPARTMENT, IN WHICH THE WORKING FLUID CAN PERFORM. AND AS THE MOVING PARTS ARE MADE OF CERAMIC MATERIALS, THEY CAN BE GREASED WITH THE WORKING FLUID. M. C.
