Summary

The aim of the article is to represent refrigerating plants operating with ammonia with simple diagrams, to localize the risk(s) of accidents and include them in a specific scenario. To obtain these 8 typical diagrams, the author has used a plant classification according to use, evaporation temperatures, the refrigerant system distribution, the condensation mode and the number of compression steps.
