Regenerative Stirling cycle compressor for cooler.

Summary
A small, portable two-cylinder, V-form compressor for refrigerator was designed and built. The compressor works on the basis of reverse, regenerative Stirling cycle. The working medium is inertia gas, in this case nitrogen. The compressor is driven by alternating-current, 3-kilowatt electric motor, which is placed under protective metallic hood. The volume of the working space of the compressor is 90 cm3.
