Summary

THE TWO-BAND SUPERCONDUCTOR MODEL INVOLVING BOTH THE ELECTRON SCATTERING BY LATTICE DEFECTS AND CORRELATION INTERACTION OF ELECTRONS OF WIDE AND NARROW BANDS IS DISCUSSED FOR ITS POSSIBLE APPLICATION IN TREATING THE KINETIC PROPERTIES OF HIGH-TEMPERATURE SUPERCONDUCTORS (HTSC) IN THE NORMAL STATE. SPECIFIC PROPERTIES OF RELAXATION PROCESSES IN THE ELECTRON SYSTEM OF A NARROW-BAND CONDUCTOR ARE FOUND. THESE ARE A NONBORN BEHAVIOUR OF IMPURITY SCATTERING IN THE REGION OF BAND OVERLAP AND AN ANOMALOUS INCREASEIN ELECTRON-ELECTRON SCATTERING UNDER A PARTIAL OCCUPANCY OF THE NARROW BAND. THE TEMPERATURE DEPENDENCE OF RESISTANCE RESULTED FROM THE INTERFERENCE OF VARIOUS RELAXATION MECHANISMS CONTAINS A WIDE LINEAR PORTION TYPICAL OF HTSC, AND THE THERMOELECTRIC COEFFICIENT HAS AN ABNORMALLY HIGH VALUE.
