RELIABILITY IN HIGH-REQUIREMENT HEATING, VENTILATING AND AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEMS.

Author(s) : RAHKAMO K.

Summary

FORHVAC-SYSTEMS WHICH REQUIRE HIGHER STANDARDS, THE EVALUATION OF THEIR RELIABILITY PERFORMANCE IS NEEDED ALONG WITH THEIR TECHNICAL PERFORMANCE. IN THE WORK THE MAIN OBJECTIVE WAS TO FIND OUT HOW THE RELIABILITY OF SUCH SYSTEMS CAN BE ANALYZED AND IMPROVED. BASIC RELIABILITY ENGINEERING METHODS WERE TESTED AND METHODS SUITABLE FOR ANALYZING HVAC-SYSTEMS WERE DEVELOPED. ALSO SOME PROTOTYPES OF FAILURE AND MAINTENANCE DATA COLLECTING SYSTEMS WERE DEVELOPED AND TESTED.
