Summary
The azeotropic refrigerant mixture R410A has been selected as an alternative refrigerant for R22. Performance improvement and reliability guarantee is necessary for using R410A in room air conditioners. The authors improved its performance by improvement of a heat exchanger and ensured its reliability by using a new drier and by reducing the oil rate.
