This paper introduces the features, principle and engineering applications of the ground source heat pump system with heat recovery and compares it with the air source heat pump unit with heat recovery in refrigerating capacity, heat capacity and COP. The authors investigate two engineering application examples and conclude that the ground source heat pump system with heat recovery owns two advantages of environment protection and energy saving by analysis and it is valuable to spread with application.
