Research and development on a new type of induction air diffuser.

Summary

A new type of induction diffuser named WinFan is proposed and developed with unique working manner and advantages in the following points of view: 1) a windmill-fan unit is invented and employed for coordinating two functions of air outlet distributing primary air, and exhaust fan drawing the heat air over the upper portion of conditioned room; 2) high induction ability up to two to three times in induction ratio ensures uniform temperature and air velocity in occupied area; 3) energy conservation without second electricity consumption for driving the exhaust fan. The paper describes the principle and the basic features of a prototype of WinFan and demonstrates the results of feasible experiments.
