Summary

In Korea, superconducting high gradient magnetic separation has been applied for the treatment of various kinds of wastewater. The wastewater from a paper factory was successfully purified by a HTS superconducting magnet after being pre-treated with magnetite and coagulant. For the treatment of the coolant of a hot rolling process in an iron manufactory, coagulation conditions were investigated.
