Summary

In the article, the components, characteristics, and laws governing indoor air pollution in medical premises and measures to restrain pollution spread are analyzed on the basis of practical investigations of indoor air quality in a large, top-ranking outpatient and emergency building (medical facility) in China over a three-year period. The effective measures, theory, operating methods to improve the indoor air quality in medical facilities and to promote health are systematically established.
