Research on vertical temperature distribution of hybrid ventilation in an atrium building by mathematical model.

Author(s) : WANG X., HUANG C., LI J., et al.

Summary

A modified Block model is presented for predicting the vertical temperature distribution of hybrid ventilation in an atrium building. Natural ventilation working with air-conditioning system together is considered in the modified Block model. To verify the model, experiment is conducted using an atrium building in Shanghai Research Institute of Building Sciences. The field-measurement data of the vertical temperature distribution of hybrid ventilation show quite good qualitative agreement with the theoretical analysis. Therefore, vertical temperature distribution of hybrid ventilation can be predicted by this theoretical model correctly.
