Type of article: Article
Summary
Ethylene production of cut flowers species like Leucanthenum vulgare, Ginestra, and Lilium stored in bell-glass has been measured. Duration and "quality" of Lilium cut flower blooms, related to different ethylene concentration, has been evaluated. According to the research results, the authors conclude that the depuration of ethylene from storage room atmophere is not economically advantageous because of the high cost of depuration technology related to the low benefits obtained from the examined species.
