SINCE 1981, AT KAUNAS CENTRE FOR ARRHYTHMIA SURGERY 500 PATIENTS HAVE BEEN OPERATED ON FOR WPW SYNDROME: 400 OPERATIONS HAVE BEEN PERFORMED WITHOUT THE USE OF CARDIOPULMONARY BYPASS. THE MAIN TECHNIQUE EMPLOYED FOR THE DESTRUCTION OF KENT BUNDLE WAS CRYOABLATION WITH LIQUID NITRIC DIOXIDE.
