Reversibility of air-conditioning terminals. An example: radiant ceilings.
Réversibilité des terminaux en climatisation. Un exemple : les plafonds rayonnants.
Author(s) : BIENFAIT D., FELDMAN C.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The authors propose the following heating concepts for various applications: usual case (cooling ceiling in heating mode with change-over or zone-by-zone regulation: 2 pipes/2 heating wires or 4 pipes or heat pump on a water loop); local case with strict requirements in comfort and/or big losses through facades (cooling ceiling plus baseboard heating, cooling ceiling with peripheral zone equipped with an electrical heating film, cooling ceiling with peripheral zone fed with warm water). The authors present the advantages of combining cooling ceilings with displacement ventilation.
