Summary

In France, sales of reversible refrigerating units have expanded fast. On the total refrigerating unit market, the market share of reversible units rose from 15% in 1996 to almost twice this figure in 1997. The authors describe the basic principles and give a few examples of applications in office buildings, a supermarket, a clinic and hotels.
