Summary
A reversible heat pump can be used to provide heating and cooling at the same time. It is an optimal solution from an energy-efficiency point of view for buildings requiring simultaneous heating and cooling several months per year. This article focuses on the heating/air-conditioning plant in the Caisse d'Allocations Familiales de Lyon, in France.
